Last Thursday 4 February was Time to Talk day – Time to Change’s biggest campaign to get the nation talking about mental health – which saw over 70,000 conversations.
Mind in Cambridgeshire and STOP Suicide were delighted to be given the chance to hold a talk around mental health and suicide to 300 students at Thomas Clarkson Academy in Wisbech that day. This is an important issue, as 1 in 10 young people will experience a mental health problem each year.
Students appeared to be highly engaged with the presentation; having lots of conversations and showing a lot of interest in the campaign, resources and getting involved.
Thanks again to all at Thomas Clarkson for welcoming us that day – we look forward to working with you in the future.
